International Yoga Day Celebration

“Yoga makes you harmonious with nature and teaches you to be joyfully curious about your inner world.”
St. Mary’s Convent & Public School celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day with the theme “Yoga for Self and Society.” The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of the staff members, preprimary kids and students from Grades V to X. All the participants showcased the numerous benefits of yoga through demonstrations of various asanas.
The special highlight of the event was the felicitation of Sushma Prashanthi, a faculty member, who was honoured for her remarkable achievements in athletics. She secured First Prize in Shot Put and Third Place in Hammer Throw at the 37th Annual Masters Athletics Championship held in Sri Lanka.
